.....I just had to post one more from this family! I was working on the rest of their pictures today and I fell in love with this one. I love how sweet and tender she is kissing him and how his little fingers are wrapped around hers. Just too precious!

not so sleepy newborn

When Landon arrived at my house he was not interested in sleeping! We pulled out every trick and work with him, but still not sleeping!

.....that's what my kids call him! Cody is my sweetest little nephew who is all boy and loves everything to do with farming, atv's, and just being outside doing what little boys do! He is the easiest child to photograph! Thank you, Cody for being so adorable today......love, Aunt Chelle

Over the last couple of years I have had the pleasure of meeting lots of 2 year olds, but I have never meet one quite like Lucy! She was just blowing me away with how old she acted! After being with her I felt like I had to come home and start working with my kids on their spanish! She was such a sweet little girl and will be the best big sister in 9 more weeks! Thank you Lucy for coming out to play!

I'm back!

I am so excited to finally be back to shooting....and I couldn't have picked too cuter boys to start with! Their eyes are so big and beautiful! Even though we were dodging rain the whole time, the boys did great and we got lots of good ones! Thanks again Compton family!

trains, trains, trains

Trains are a huge part of our family! Carter has LOVED trains since he was 2 yrs old. It started out with chuncky battery powered trains, then it went to all the wooden Thomas sets, and now he is all about the HO scale model trains. So we took him to the train depot today to look at all the tracks. We had so much fun! I just can't believe how big he is getting and how his train obsession has grown right along with him.

Lainey

I know the last several posts have been my kids but I haven't started doing shoots yet. I have had lots of fun with my kids!! This little girl gets away with so much because you just look at her and you forget what you were mad about! She absolutely melts my heart! When I prayed for a girl, this is exactly what I wanted!

This was a first for me, I had never photographed dogs before. I was so excited to give it a try. It was a lot fun because the kids were so excited about Brownie being there. Gina, I hope we got what you had in mind, I think they turned out really cute!

Bubbles

I was so excited when this little girls mom contacted me about doing her pictures again this spring! She didn't change much from last year except that she gained a little more hair, a couple of teeth, and a whole lot of speed!! So, we set down to play some bubbles in the grass. I just love the determination on her face as she tried to pop as many as she could with those tiny hands! Thanks Stone family for letting me capture her again this year!

Happy Easter!

I didn't get to wish everyone a Happy and Blessed Easter because my family was all sick. I hope you all had a great day with family and enjoyed the weather. This is Lainey hunting eggs. She just couldn't stop eating the candy long enough to get more eggs! (Please don't look to close at all the dirt in her fingernails!! It was along day of playing outside with cousins!)

5 Already??

Carter had his 5th birthday today!! I am so excited for him and so sad for me! He is so funny, thoughtful, in love with trains, likes to eat just the peanuts off the top of his ice cream cones, a complete clean freak, wears nothing but crocs and blue jeans, takes care of his little sister, and can't wait to be a big brother again. He is all of these things, but to me he will always be that long-haired little boy that comes running with his arms opened wide calling me, "mommy".

Spring is finally here!

It is so exciting to see everything starting to get green and leaf out! The kids are so happy to be outside all covered in sidewalk chalk. I just love this time or year! If you do too, why not take the kids outside, let them run free, and capture that spirit! This is the perfect time of year for all of your spring portraits. But hurry, I am really ready to have this baby!! I will be scheduling now until the end of April. Then I will pick back up in the fall. The one exception is for newborns. If you are expecting and due during the time that I am on maternity leave, please let me know as soon as possible so we can tentatively plan for it. Please keep in mind the best time for newborns is before they are 2 weeks old. I hope you all have a wonderful spring!!

Disney bound!!

I just wanted to let everyone know in case you try to contact me, I will be on vacation March 7th through the 14th. But when I return there will be lots of new things. I have been working on a new blog, the spring scheduleing, and promotions! So please check back because I can't wait to see everyone this spring!

Surprise!

We are so suprised and so excited! Carter has finally decided that he is OK with another girl! He has decided that her name can be Gabbie instead of Gavin. We'll see! We are just so thankful that God has blessed us with 3 healthy babies!
